Marketing and Sales Representative (Remote)

General Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to promote Spectra Technology’s colorants and other products across Europe and other target markets, primarily through remote communication channels.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities remotely, including expanding into new industries and regions, and maintaining relationships with existing clients through virtual means.
  3. Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis remotely to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and utilize this information to formulate effective marketing strategies.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team remotely to create compelling promotional materials, presentations, and campaigns to attract potential customers and enhance brand visibility.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders remotely, including other suppliers, distributors, and industry associations, to support business development initiatives.
  6. Provide technical assistance and support to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through virtual platforms.
  7. Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to management remotely, monitoring performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
  8. Stay updated on developments in the industry, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics, and incorporate relevant knowledge into marketing strategies.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably within the chemical industry or related sectors.
  3. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data interpretation to make informed business decisions.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders remotely.
  5. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  6. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems and experience utilizing CRM tools for sales management and customer relationship development preferred.
  7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fully remote, and dynamic environment.
  8. Willingness to adapt to different time zones and travel domestically and internationally as needed for virtual client meetings, webinars, exhibitions, and industry events.
